Our engagement to Beefuture
It is a fact that the bee has an enormous influence on the environment and thereby also on us humans. Bees are the supporting element of our ecosystem, more than 80% of the native flowering plants depend on their pollination. The bees are therefore the third most important animal in agriculture after cattle and pigs. The economic value of bee pollination worldwide is hundreds of billions of euros. The progressive death of bees, especially in the past decades, can also no longer be denied. The causes are illnesses, pesticides, climate change, monocultures and exploitation.
The worldwide bee mortality is a topic that Beefuture has taken on. KOHNLE actively supports Beefuture in its efforts to protect nature and the environment. This means that KOHNLE supports the natural and animal friendly keeping of bees and makes an important contribution to direct environmental protection. KOHNLE has taken on the sponsorship of several bee colonies for this reason, because the biological diversity of species should also be preserved for future generations.
